JERK BUTTER SHRIMP BOIL

Ingredients

1.5 pound extra large shrimp, deveined with shells and tails on
1/2 red bell pepper , chopped into large chunks
1/2 orange bell pepper , chopped into large chunks
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tablespoon thyme
2 tablespoon walker wood Jerk seasoning
1 teaspoon browning
Ground black pepper
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Ground pimento
Ground ginger
2 sticks unsalted butter
2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
4 medium red potatoes , cut into large chunks
4 mini corn on the cobs, cut into halves

Instructions

1 . Bring a large pot filled with water to a boil and cook the corn and potatoes for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are tender

2. Remove from heat, drain, and set aside

3. In a large bowl, season cleaned shrimp with black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, ground pimento , and ginger

4. Add browning , thyme and mix well then set aside

5. In a large skillet , heat olive oil and sauté the garlic , bell peppers, and green onion for about 4-6 minutes or until tender

6. Add 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning and mix well

7. Add 2 sticks of butter and cook until butter is fully melted (about 3-5 minutes )

8. Add seasoned shrimp and allow it to cook on medium high heat for 6-8 minutes

9. Remove from heat

10. In a large pan add the corn and potatoes

11. Pour the Shrimp and jerk butter mixture over the corn and potatoes and carefully mix well so that everything is coated with the jerk butter sauce

12. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional)

13. Serve and enjoy !
