1 tsp salt
3 tsp chili powder
3 tsp onion powder
4 tsp garlic powder
3 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1/4 cup lard
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup heavy cream
Combine the seasonings in a large plastic baggie
Wash and pat dry chicken breasts and cut into 1” cubes.
Add the chicken pieces to the baggie with the seasonings. Shake to coat.
In large sauté pan melt lard add chicken and spices
Cook over medium heat for about 7 to 8 minutes stirring occasionally
Pour the cream into the skillet and lower the heat.
Simmer for several minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens then add butter.
Serve over pasta or steamed white rice.
