Recipe: (I do not measure so it’s basically the ingredients and cooking method)
Ingredients:
Wild Caught Shrimp size 16/20
Penne Pasta
Heavy Cream
Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Kinders Tequila Lime Rub ( found this at walmart )
Fresh Chopped Garlic
Minced Shallots
Unsalted Butter and Avocado Oil
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper
Garlic Powder
Parsley
Directions:
1. Boil Pasta to your liking and then strain
2. Season Shrimp with Tequila Lime Rub and Sautee in Avocado Oil (cook about 2-3 minutes per side) and remove from pan
3. Add butter, Shallots and Garlic to pan shrimp was sauteed in and sautee for about 1 minute (you can also use about 2 tablespoons of tequila to deglaze the pan & reduce the liquid by ⅔ before adding the butter, shallots and garlic)
4. Add heavy cream to pan, bring to a light boil and reduce by ⅓
5. Add Parmesan Cheese and season to taste with Tequila Lime Rub, Kosher Salt, Garlic Powder and Black Pepper
6. Simmer Alfredo sauce for a couple of minutes until it thickens
7. Add pasta and a few shrimp to the Alfredo sauce to coat the noodles
8. Plate the pasta and top with remaining Shrimp; Garnish with Parsley
