Million Dollar Chicken & Rice Casserole

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 1/2 cups cooked white rice
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers (optional, for topping)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare Chicken and Rice: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken and rice.
Mix Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth.
Combine: Add the soup mixture to the chicken and rice, stirring to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer to Dish: Pour the chicken and rice mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the casserole.
Add Topping (Optional): Drizzle the melted butter over the top, then sprinkle with crushed Ritz crackers if desired.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
