4 Tablespoon Mayonnaise

2 Tablespoon ketchup

4 Teaspoon sweet pickle relish

1 Teaspoon Sugar

1 Teaspoon distilled white vinegar

BURGERS

4 Pound 80/20 ground beef

1 Tablespoon Traeger Beef Rub

12 slices of American cheese

4 hamburger buns

FOR SERVING

Pickles, for serving

1 Large tomato, sliced

Butter lettuce, for serving

1 Large white onion, sliced

Directions

1- Make the special sauce: In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, sugar, and vinegar. Set aside until ready to use.

2 Tablespoon ketchup

1 Teaspoon Sugar

2- Make the burgers: When ready to cook, set Traeger temperature to 400℉ and preheat, lid closed for 15 minutes.

3- Divide the ground beef mixture into 12 portions, 5 ounces each, then gently shape into patties. Season the patties on both sides with the Traeger Beef Rub.

4- Arrange the patties directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 4 minutes, then flip and cook for 2 minutes longer. Top each patty with a slice of cheese, close the lid again, and cook until the cheese is melted, 2 minutes more. During the last minute of cooking, place the buns on the grill to toast.

5- To assemble, spread a bit of special sauce on the bottom buns, then top each with pickles, a slice of tomato, a piece of lettuce, 3 burger patties, and a slice of onion. Spread more special sauce on the top buns, then place atop the burgers. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
