Garlic Bread and Pasta

Garlic Bread and Pasta

I was always one to finish my plate of pasta and go back and snack on the remaining garlic bread. And this garlic bread recipe is DANGEROUS! It’s a good thing it makes 16 large slices because you’ll be fighting your family over this one!

Ingredients
3/4 cup butter softened
6 tbsp mayo
3 tbsp minced garlic
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 loaf French bread sliced in half lengthwise

Instructions
In a bowl, blend together butter, mayo, garlic, Parmesan, and oregano.
Spread evenly over cut sides of French bread.
Wrap each half tightly with foil.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Carefully unwrap halves.
Broil on high in the oven for 2 – 3 minutes or until edges of bread are browned and crispy (keep a close eye to make sure the bread doesn’t burn).
Cool slightly, then slice and serve.
